VF Corp. is the world’s largest apparel and footwear manufacturer. It is a hybrid company—both retailer and wholesaler with $11 billion in annual revenues, over 30 dynamic lifestyle brands and approximately 57,000 associates working in locations across the globe. VF Corporation operates in multiple geographies and their products are sold in stores all overthe world.


Due to a growth through acquisition strategy, VF Corporation needed to consolidate master data across 38 brand organizations and enterprise systems. As part of their MDM project, VF Corporation wanted to manage their diverse set of data flowing from and to various enterprise systems through a unified data governance process. VF wanted to streamline their processes post acquisition of a new company but at the same time allow the company to compete on its own and maintain its identity.

This project was one of the most successful single instance multi domain MDM implementations at Riversand. This implementation helps VF manage over 100 million entities from different brands of VF Corporation like The North Face, Timberland, Smartwool, Vans, etc. while ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
