Neiman Marcus To Offer Pinterest's Buyable Pins

Luxury fashion retailer Neiman Marcus (NMG) recently announced that later this month, customers would be able to purchase their favorite finds on Buyable Pins across Pinterest including the Company’s Pinterest page at www.pinterest.com/NeimanMarcus.
Millions of Pins on Pinterest will now become buyable, offering a simple and secure way for customers to buy their favorite finds. In just a few taps, on any iOS enabled device, a customer can buy the products he or she has Pinned or discovered. This service will be solely offered in the US at this time.
“Neiman Marcus has always been a source of inspiration to our customers. We know that Pinterest is one of our customers’ favorite ways to engage with our brand. Giving her the ability to purchase a product, as she discovers and is inspired by it, only enhances her shopping experience,” says Wanda Gierhart, Chief Marketing Officer, Neiman Marcus Group.
This announcement follows the addition of LIKEtoKNOW.it to the Neiman Marcus Instagram account (announced May 6, 2015), which facilitates commerce through social media and the Snap.Find.Shop. visual search feature on the Neiman Marcus Shopping App, which suggest like items based off of 2D and 3D image search. Each tech innovation introduction has been designed to enhance the customer’s shopping experience and provide them the ability to shop anytime, anywhere.
